Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
Michael has been awarded the CGEIT® certification by ISACA (previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association). This certification is a prestigious and globally recognized standard of achievement that confirms an individual’s experience and knowledge in the governance of enterprise IT. The CGEIT® designation demonstrates proven expertise in strategic alignment, value delivery, risk management and performance measurement from the perspective of the Board and Executive Management. The CGEIT® certification has met the stringent requirements of ANSI ISO/IEC Standard 17024. Michael placed in the top 5% worldwide of those having taken the CGEIT exam and was presented with ISACA’s CGEIT Geographic Achievement award.
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
Michael has been awarded the CRISC® certification by ISACA (previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association). This certification is a prestigious and globally recognized standard of achievement that confirms an individual’s experience and knowledge in enterprise risk management with a focus upon information systems. The CRISC® designation demonstrates proven expertise in the identification, assessment, evaluation, response and monitoring of risk; information systems control design and implementation; IS control monitoring and maintenance. The CRISC® certification has met the stringent requirements of ANSI ISO/IEC Standard 17024.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Michael has been awarded the CISSP® certification by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium also known as (ISC)². This certification is a globally recognized standard of achievement that confirms an individual’s experience and knowledge in the field of information security. CISSPs are information assurance professionals who define the architecture, design, management and/or controls that assure the security of your business environments. It was the first certification in the field of information security to meet the stringent requirements of ANSI ISO/IEC Standard 17024.
Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO)
Michael has been awarded the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO)® certification by the EC-Council. The C|CISO program independently confirms that an individual’s accumulated skill, knowledge and experience has meet the required level for the executive role of CISO. The C|CISO program verifies that an individual has at least ten years of progressive experience within the information security discipline across five domains; Governance, Strategic Planning & Finance, Management – Projects and Operations, IS controls/audit and IS core competencies.
Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH)
Michael has been awarded the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH)® certification by the EC-Council. The C|EH program certifies individuals in the specific security discipline of ethical hacking from a vendor neutral perspective. A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in your computer systems and applications. They use the same knowledge, skills and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of your business’ computing environment. By knowing how to exploit the weaknesses in your systems, you will know how to remove and mitigate those weaknesses.
The C|EH program has met the stringent requirements of ANSI ISO/IEC Standard 17024 and the Department of Defense’s 8570 directive.
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
Michael has been awarded the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification by the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII). The CBCP program certifies an individual’s knowledge and experience in business continuity management (Risk Evaluation and Control, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Strategies, Emergency Response and Operations, Awareness and Training, Business Continuity Plan Exercise, Audit and Maintenance, Crisis Communications and Coordination with External Agencies).
Certified Scrum Master
Scrum is an iterative and incremental Agile software development methodology for managing software development projects. Certified ScrumMasters® help project teams properly use Scrum, increasing the likelihood of the project’s overall success. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications. They provide a level of knowledge and expertise above and beyond that of typical project manager. CSMs act as “servant leaders,” helping the rest of the Scrum team work together and learn the Scrum framework.
The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a set of practices for IT service management (ITSM) that focus upon the alignment of IT services with the needs of business. The ITIL foundations certifies an individual’s knowledge and understanding of all key ITIL concepts, terminology and processes.
Michael brings focused leadership, a vast understanding of technology and savvy business sense to the table. He has a real gift for bringing teams together to provide solutions that increases company productivity many times over.
